Marianne Stonefield

Marianne is a nurse, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a partner, a loyal friend.

She grew up in Louisville, KY, and the Washington, DC-area, and has called Brunswick home for the past 9 years. All of her life experiences – from childhood to young adulthood to middle age – have been deeply influenced by strong women, inspiring her firm belief that every woman deserves the opportunity to flourish.

At the American Nurses Enterprise, she is finally putting her two BS degrees to use simultaneously. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications from Murray State University in Murray, KY, in 2006, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, in 2012. As a Strategic Communications Analyst, she helps give voice to the nation’s over 5 million nurses and promotes the work that helps shape the profession.

She loves to travel, spend time with her little family, watch TV & movies, listen to music, and read. She is extremely passionate about women’s rights and the rights of every human. She is honored and humbled to join this VIA committee and to help tell the stories of the women in the Golden Isles community.
