About
Marcyline Bailey
I should have been an engineer. My parents and significant adults in my life wanted me to be a doctor. My high school teachers dissuaded me from being a journalist. I have the aptitude and ability and could have been any of those professionals.
What people see on the surface, never tells the truth about what we are experiencing daily in our lives. I see women who have financial, relationship, family, or career struggles and they keep it all to themselves. They don’t have a community of support. I believe it is important to build such a community. I didn’t have one for a long time, because I was fearful of what others would say. The fact is we are healthier when we belong to a supportive community.
I would like the opportunity to share my experiences and possibly share solutions that will benefit women in our community.
