She has spent over a decade in tech and eight years in healthcare. After studying organizational change at North Georgia College & State University, AJ served in the United States Army for 5 years before transitioning to the private sector.

For the past 4 years, AJ has been helping entrepreneurs give structure to their small businesses by leveraging the same strategic logic used by large corporations. By focusing on the small business community, AJ hopes to help redress the balance of inequities in power that can have lasting effects on the socioeconomic dynamics of our communities.

When she’s not working or volunteering, AJ enjoys family time with her husband Markus, their 2-year-old son, and their 13 year old german-pinscher named Roscoe.
