Courtney has compassionately served women and children, throughout her ten years in leadership roles and resource development advocating for families and at-risk youth experiencing crisis. Courtney is the founder of Nurturing Excellence, an organization that assists survivors of sexual assault and provides parenting classes for the prevention of child abuse.. Her vision is to increase evidenced based programming for communities focusing on mental health and trauma reduction. Courtney is also an Author, and operator of Poetic Alchemy, a business of handcrafted art, candles, and poetic designs used to empower voice.
