Introduce yourself to the VIA team They will wear the orange lanyard and are happy to help, answer your questions, and make you feel welcome. They are a gold mine for introductions to other attendees and speakers.
Introduce yourself to the speakers Not often do you have so many amazing womxn in the same space at the same time. Take full advantage of it, they will love meeting you!
Make some new connections A good connection can lead to new opportunities, a job, a relationship, or a partnerships. Networkingmatters and is a big part of what VIA Connects is. Introduce yourself, share your business card, a social media link, etc. so you can stay in touch. Attendees who are good at follow up will get the most out of VIA Connects.
Join us at lunch Gather in the main room or join the Hispanic Coalition in the Brave room. Lunch is a great time to socialize.
Don’t expect to catch everything The agenda is dense, the line-up of high quality. Focus on your immediate needs or wishes. All sessions with visual materials will be shared online a week after the conference.
